Set the world aBlaze....

Blazers, blazers, everywhere! Going beyond your winter coat, a fabulous blazer can be worn during the day with flats/riding boots or out at night with heels/tall boots. There are three types that I believe fit into any wardrode (embellished, boyfriend, shrunken).

Note: I have started posting titles with the links so that if the page expires, you can search the web by the style name.

This jacket has been featured in Elle, Harpers Baazar, etc. It is a perfect embellished jacket for fall to pair with jeans.

2.Gap wool-blend shrunken Blazer (blue plaid) http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=51452This would look amazing with the collar upright and a long wrapped scarf. Or, pair it with brown riding boots and skinny jeans with a long pearl necklace.

3. Silence and Noise Black Long Party Blazer http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=16424830&navAction=jump&isProduct=true&parentid=MORE%20IDEAS&isProduct=true&cross-sell=true&guide-bn=true These longer style blazers are great for going out. Instead of a cardigan, throw on this blazer over a dress, skirt, or pants. Tighter fitting shirts look amazing under these and make sure to buy one that is pretty slim fitting.

4. Black Velvet Blazer http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=45420&vid=1&pid=680730 With the holidays approaching, a velvet blazer is perfect for any party. I think a black cropped velvet blazer with a brightly colored skirt, tights and kitten heels makes a perfect fun/formal look.

5. Eixty-Six Sequined Jacket http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3067962/0~2376776~2374327~2374375~2381291?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=2381291&P=1 This embellished blazer allows you to wear very simple items along with it. It stands out for evening.

6. Kenneth Cole Printed Boyfriend Blazer http://www.kennethcole.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3758766&cp=3075218.3075425.3075451 Roll up the sleeves, put on a long racerback tank and your american apparel leggings with ankle boots...perfect combo.
