New Year, High Style

New Years calls for flashy dresses, short skirts, and fun, flirty outfits. Even if you are attending a low-key event, its an excuse to put on something glittery and have fun. Hopefully one of these choices will help you ring in the New Year in style.

1. Topshop Dress- Sequined, however not over the top and would look great with tights and ankle boots or heels, a large cuff bracelet and simple earrings

2. French Connection- Super fun, make a statement, dress. This would need minimal jewelry, but bright eyeshadow.

3. BCBG- This would be great for a more formal New Years celebration, where you could add textured tights, heels, and a statement necklace

4. Forever 21- Just and easy, inexpensive option, throw on this sequined skirt with a cotton drapey top.

5. Jcrew- This would be really cute if you were staying in or going to a friends house and still want to look festive. This skirt could be re-worn for a variety of occasions.

6. Bloomingdales- If you want to be a showstopper, this is the dress for you! It requires just your personality to complete the look and will definitely stand out!

7. Shop Bop- This is a great shape for post-holiday body woes. It would be sparkly and comfortable.

8. Urban Outfitters- Another sequined option that could be worn with a simple t-shirt, large earrings, and cute shoes.

Snuggle Soft

I had to give a shout out today to the best pajama pants on earth..... If you like to come home from work or the gym and throw on your pj's, these are the best option. They don't have a drawstring (which can get caught in the dryer anyway), and are soft wash after wash. They would make a great present or just buy yourself a pair to throw on (just don't blame me if your significant other becomes sick of you wearing them everyday).

Holiday Gift Guide Part 3

I am way too inspired to stop posting about gifts.....hopefully some of these ideas are helpful:) Let me know your comments and if you need an idea for a particular person in your life .....I will try to find a great item for him/her.

For Her:

Anthropologie Sweater- This is cozy, neutral, and looks so cute over a tank dress with tights and riding boots....perfect for a sister or mom (who could wear it with a turtleneck and jeans)

Black Leather Boots- So comfortable because they have just a small wedge, can be worn with tights, leggings and jeans. Also, are real leather, so they will breathe.

Victoria Secret Jacket
This jacket comes in black too and would make a great, practical gift for anyone in your life that likes a variety of coats for cold weather. The ruffle detail adds a fun touch too.

Urban Outfitters Jacket -This is just an easy gift that will be used over dresses, camis, or collared shirt. It would look cute with skirts or jeans.

For Him:

Fred Perry Track Jacket- This may seem pricey, but I can promise it will be used time after time.

Brooks Brothers Slim Tie
If your guy dresses up for work, or just needs a classic tie for the weddings you attend, these are stylish, simple, and classic. Plus, you can get two for a low price.

Tiffany Money Clip -This clip is personable when engraved, and really is classic. You just need to make sure your guy uses money clips in general.
