I believe I keep mentioning statement necklaces when talking about outfit combinations. But, I have not suggested any particular options when it comes to this type of jewelry. Large, multi-stranded necklaces are becoming very popular. Not only can you just put on one big piece, but you can layer a variety of styles for a cool effect.
1. JCrew Large Necklace- This is a bit costly, but if you check the "Sale" section, a lot of these necklaces show up. JCrew actually has a lot of beautiful statement necklaces that really stand out. This one would look beautiful with a pastel cardigan or under a simple blazer with a crew neck top. Or, over your LBD (little black dress).
2. Forever 21- On the other end of the price spectrum, Forever 21 is a great spot for multi-strand necklaces. They may not hold up for multi-uses, but are great if you need an accesory for an outfit ASAP.
3. Banana Republic- I chose this one to show how you can buy pieces that are all one piece, or, if you have multiple necklaces, you can just put them all on at once to mimic this design.
4. BCBG- I am pretty sure my sister Emma has this very necklace. If so, I have seen her wear it with a tank top and blazer with a skirt. It is a simple piece, but gives a rocker look to your outfit.
5. Anthropologie- This necklace has really cute ties. Hair worn up off the neck would look great with such a cute piece.
