Given my excitement over the Zara store opening on Michigan Avenue this thursday (I will be there with bells on), I started to think about my favorite clothing item: dresses!! I am a huge fan of all types of dresses and lately I like assymetrical necklines (one shoulder). Even those of us who don't have Michelle Obama's arms can look cute in this style. What are you favorite dresses for going out in the chilly temps? I like the one shoulder's but I fear I'll get too cold. Also, some good budget finds would be useful if you know of any.
ReplyDeleteYou can always wear a one-shoulder dress with black tights (see below post) and a large shawl/big chucky sweater. For nights out in chilly temps I prefer sweater dresses with a large belt cinched at the waist. Or, a dress that looks great with tights and a simple cardigan. Budget-friendly one-shoulder dresses are on nordstrom.com (just search one-shoulder style) or any small boutique (two-sisters on madison)
