Generation....

I love BCBG for great dresses and other items. Its sister brand, BCBG generation now has an online store and they have tons of cute finds for under $100. I've bought the line before and the quality is not disappointing. Also, just be aware that you may need one size up in the dresses/skirts because they run a tad short. Besides that, the options are endless....

1. Floral Print Dress

2. Maxi Dress

3. LBD

4. Printed Top

5. Skirt

6. Clutch

High-Style Reunion

Last night at dinner, my friends and I were talking about what you wear to a reunion. Do you air on the conservative side as not to look like you are trying to hard? Or, do you put on your snazzy best to feel more confident? I racked my brain to find some outfits that would maybe do both..... These oufits could also work as a "Wednesday night before Thanksgiving" looks to reconnect with old buddies.

1. Bloomingdales- My friend Sarah suggested a sweater-dress and I thought it was a fantastic choice. This one would look great with a wide cinched belt (see below post) and black ankle boots. Large earrings and no necklace would also be a great touch.
2. Nordstrom- If you are one who prefers jeans, this top with a boyfriend blazer (see earlier post) or bright cardigan, would look great. Pair with dark skinny jeans and tall boots. Lots of bangles and large earrings are a must. This way, you can remove your outer layer and look cute in just the top.

3. Top Shop- A skirt can be an easy option. You could wear a plain tight black v-neck tucked in with black heels or boots. Or, you could put on a tight tank with a cropped black jacket (motorcycle style).

4. Piperlime- An easy, cute dress that would look great with fishnets and grey or black boots. A long pendant necklace and cocktail ring would look great too.

5. Urban Outfitters- Another top that you could easily wear with jeans or a skirt. It could be worn under a funky jacket or black sweater.

6. Akira- Lastly, a great option to wear with jeans, leggings, or dark tights. Over the knee flat boots, tall boots, or slouchy boots would look great in black, brown, or grey. Anything would go on top over it for warmth.

Happy Shopping!

Don't skirt the issue....

If you are like me, black tights can make you feel a teensy bit more confident about your legs. Therefore, 'tis the season to put on a shorter skirt without your bare legs out in the open. A blazer with a short skirt paired with ankle boots is a great look for going out or for a holiday party. Also, wear a loose v-neck shirt tucked into a mini-skirt for a rocker look. No matter your comfort level, there are skirts out there that will please anyone. Here a a few of my favorites....

This is a super fun skirt for any festive occasion. Note: these skirts are made to fit higher on the waist so don't be alarmed if it won't fit over your hips, just hike it up further.

This is a perfect example of a skirt that would look great with a super tight tank tucked in and a cropped or boyfriend blazer.

5. http://www.revolveclothing.com/DisplayProduct.jsp?product=MIME-WD29&c=Skirts&s=C If you aren't as comfortable in shorter lengths, this is a wonderful alternative and still super stylish and cute

I had to put this one in because while it is a bit crazy, I love how it is styled (shown in silver above) with the white t-shirt and large statement necklace. Perfect for a new years party...
